Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: Yes

Purpose:

To seek approval  for South Kesteven District Council to support and work towards achieving the aims and ambitions of the memorandum of understanding to support joint action in Lincolnshire on improving health through housing.

Decision:

Approval is granted for South Kesteven District Council to support and work towards achieving the aims and ambitions of the memorandum of understanding to support joint action in Lincolnshire on improving health through housing.

Reasons for the decision:

The HHCDG identified the need to agree a set of shared common aims and principles for a Lincolnshire approach to working across the housing, health and care sectors.   This is articulated in the Memorandum of understanding.

The HWB have invited all HHCDG stakeholders to support the MoU.

Alternative options considered:

In March 2017, the Lincolnshire Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) established the Housing Health and Care Delivery Group (HHCDG) to oversee the Housing priority theme of the Joint Lincolnshire Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

Members of the Group include representatives (Officers or Elected Members) from each of the 7 Lincolnshire Local Authorities, Lincolnshire County Council and the NHS.
