Decision

To approve the Draft South Kesteven District Council Civil Enforcement Off-Street Parking Places Order 2012 as attached to report PD002 for consultation with the statutory bodies and the public in accordance with Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales0 Regulations 1996.

Considerations/reasons for decision:

1)              Report PD002 by the Property Development Manager.

2)              The need to consult with statutory bodies and the public in readiness for the introduction of civil parking enforcement throughout the county of Lincolnshire.

3)              The Council must adopt an appropriate Order which permits enforcement of contravention in accordance with civil parking enforcement.

4)              Comments made by the Portfolio Holder Governance and Communication about the payment methods.

5)              Comments made by the Portfolio Holder Good Housing which would be taken on board during the development of the Fees and Charges Strategy being undertaken by the Resources PDG.

Decision CO04, as made on 21st May 2012 can be implemented by 30th May unless subject to call-in by the Scrutiny Committee Chairman or any five members of the Council from any political groups.
