Report ENV762 by the Licensing Officer. Additional documents: Minutes: Decision:
That no hearing is required in relation to the application for Green Lane Superstore, 10 Green Lane, Stamford.
The Licensing Officer presented report ENV762, which related to an application for a variation of an existing Premises Licence in respect of Green Lane Superstore, 10 Green Lane, Stamford for the supply of alcohol, Monday to Sunday, inclusive; 06:00 – 23:00 hrs.
The application was not duly advertised in the correct newspaper and therefore, the last date for representations was extended to 3 August 2020.
On 27 July 2020 representations were received by Lincolnshire Police. Within that representation it showed that the Police and applicant had agreed to replace the current licensing objectives on the existing licence, to those contained in the representation. The Police felt that the conditions would promote the Licensing Objectives and make for an effective, streamlined premises licence. The premise licence would be easier to implement and enforce for all those involved.
A confirmation email from the applicant, received on 28 July 2020, showed he agreed to all suggestions made by the Police.
Members considered the representation made which had been agreed by both the applicant and Lincolnshire Police and all relevant guidance issued under section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003 and South Kesteven District Council’s Licensing Policy. It was proposed, seconded and unanimously agreed that, as agreement had been reached between the applicant and Lincolnshire Police on the conditions to be attached to the Premise Licence a hearing could be dispensed with.
