Exclusion of the Public and Press
It is likely that the press and public will be excluded during discussion of the following agenda item because of the likelihood that information that is exempt under paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local government Act 1972 (as amended) would be disclosed to them. Additional documents: Minutes: Members moved, seconded and AGREED to exclude the public and press under paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 due to the likely discussion of sensitive financial information within the submission to the South Kesteven Prosperity Fund.

Application to South Kesteven Prosperity Fund - Grantham Lions
To consider whether to agree the attached application. Minutes: Members considered an application to the South Kesteven Prosperity Fund from the Grantham Lions, related to a Coronation event.
The following information was raised during debate:
· One member raised a question of payment for pitches; it was likely that there would be one food vendor, one hot drinks vendor and one ice-cream van. · It would not be easy to regulate which vendors were attending if there was no advance payment for pitches. · There would be costs attached for road closures, first aid support, and other activities. · One member suggested that whilst not all these applications to the Prosperity Fund could be heard in public, some applications could be made available for scrutiny by the public in advance. Other members disagreed, due to the sensitive nature of the finances related to these types of application.
The motion to accept the application, having been moved and seconded, was AGREED. |
