Water Hygiene Contract appointment

The purpose of this report is to obtain approval to engage a competent contractor to undertake Water Hygiene management (Legionella control) within the Council’s housing stock and corporate assets. The estimated cost of the combined contract is £55,000 per annum for the life of the contract. This is required in order to ensure compliance with Social Housing Regulations Act 2023 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations.
