Additional documents:

Minutes:

Decision: -

1.      That the committee determine that a hearing is not necessary in respect of the following applications, and the Head of Environmental Health and Licensing be authorised to determine the applications as appropriate: -

·        The Bull Hotel, 19 Market Place, Market Deeping

·        The Hurdler, 93 New Cross Road, Stamford

·        The Royal Oak, North Street, Bourne

2.      That the following applications be deferred to enable further investigations to take place: -

·        The Central Night Club, 9 Silver Lane, Stamford

·        Smiths’, 25 North Street, Bourne

·        The Town House, 39 Broad Street, Stamford

·        The Model Fish Bar and Restaurant, 52 Broad Street, Stamford

·        The Baskervilles, Main Street, Baston

The Environmental Health Manager (Environment) advised the committee that agreement had been reached with three of the applications currently before the committee and it was therefore considered unnecessary to hold a hearing.  These were the applications in respect of The Bull Hotel, Market Deeping, The Hurdler in Stamford and The Royal Oak in Bourne.  A proposal to authorise the Head of Environmental Health and Licensing should be authorised to determine the applications as appropriate.  The remaining applications had been requested for adjournments by the applicants themselves.  In respect of The Baskervilles in Baston, the notices had not been correctly displayed outside the premises and the applicant had therefore agreed to an extension of time.  In respect of The Burghley Arms in Bourne, negotiations with the police were still ongoing.  It was therefore moved and seconded that the above named applications be deferred.
