The Development Management Committee is politically balanced and has 15 members who deal with planning applications as well as carrying out other functions relating to town and country planning and development management.

Are Development Management Committee meetings open to the public?

Development Control Committee meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to attend. On rare occasions you might be excluded from a meeting if exempt information is being discussed.

As a member of the public you have the opportunity to make representations on applications that are being considered by the Committee.
